Clinical Teaching Roles as:

Lecturer /Senior Lecturer/Teaching Fellow/ Associate Lecturer/ Variable Hours Tutor / Visiting Professors & Visiting Lecturers

Full and part-time positions are available for GDC Registrants, who would like to contribute to the development and expansion of the Queens Dental Sciences Centre (QuDeSC) at the University of Bolton Greater Manchester. There is a preference for applicants motivated and passionate about Dentistry who ideally have had recent undergraduate teaching and assessment experience. However, a credit-bearing short course as Post Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education will be offered to the right candidate to develop as dental academics. Fees for this course will be waived for the right candidate willing to engage with the University.

The post holder will inspire learning across a range of undergraduate/postgraduate Programmes in Clinical Dentistry, Hygiene and Therapy, including skills development in student clinics and a state-of-the-art dental manikin laboratory.  Appointees will be supported in their role as dental educators by experienced academics, and professional services support colleagues within the Centre.

The post is based at the Queens Dental Sciences Centre (QuDeSC) located in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Salary will be commensurate at the appropriate Clinical scale for Academics and negotiable according to qualifications, teaching hours and clinical experience.
