Direct Access Dental Therapist

Location: Richmond Terrace Dental Centre, Blackburn

We are seeking an experienced Dental Therapist (minimum 3 years of clinical experience) to join our 5-surgery practice, located in the heart of Blackburn City Centre, just minutes from the bus and train stations.

About the Role

As a Direct Access Dental Therapist, you will:

• Provide both NHS and private dental care, including hygienist services, air-flow treatments, and composite bonding.
• Work independently to manage your patient list, contributing to their oral health and broader treatment plans in collaboration with our team of 4 dentists.
• Support our dentists by enabling them to focus on complex treatments like implants, oral surgery, aligners, smile makeovers, and endodontics.

You’ll be working alongside Principal Dentist Amr Temarz and Practice Manager Minaz, who will ensure you have a full list of patients and ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• GDC registration as a Dental Therapist.
• A qualification or experience enabling you to offer Direct Access services.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience and confidence working independently.
• A patient-focused approach with excellent clinical judgment.
