Job Details

We are looking for a conscientious associate to join our team and help us to continue providing a quality caring service to our local community as has been for multiple generations.

Our belief is that the NHS is and will continue to provide an essential service to the population and that as it continues to morph into something more up to date we see opportunities particularly with direct access and skill mix that will benefit: patients through a more preventive service; clinicians in focusing on the more complex aspects of dentistry; the wider team in broadening their skill set.

Mixed economy practice allows for more choice for patients, enabling more people to access a broader range of care depending on their budgetary capabilities and encourages clinicians to develop experience in a safer environment, whilst building a loyal patient base.

There is a background of FD and PLVE supervision with a principal of considerable experience.

The facility has multiple surgeries, a CBCT machine and a small lab.

Hours and remuneration are flexible and we are happy to consider someone with a speciality as much as we are someone with limited experience. We are more interested in the character, attitude and aptitude of our candidates than the system we want them to fit into.

We would be delighted to welcome someone to this fine city, with its vibrant lifestyle and the pleasures of the local countryside, including the wilds of unspoilt Norfolk coastline.

The practice is licensed to sponsor overseas dentists, but candidates must be GDC registered.

So why not have a conversation with us about whether you could have a place in our team.

Jim Peirson Dental Health Care has been providing dentistry to the local community for more than 30 years.

There has been a dental practice on the site since the early 1930s and it now occupies four terraced houses and has nine surgeries with around 15 staff.

The emphasis is on providing family dental care to the local community and so much of its income is derived from the NHS, though some also comes from independent and private work.

The practice promotes a preventive approach and uses support staff to help deliver this. Healthy patients are happier patients and more profitable patients.

We have been involved in training for FD and PLVE
