Avondale House Dental Surgery is the largest and longest-established dental surgery in Rugeley, Staffordshire. We are seeking a caring dentist for an Associate position. We are an independently owned dental surgery, offering both NHS and private treatments. We are open to applications from newly qualified dentists. The position is available on a full-time basis, with the surgery operating five days a week. We are also open to locum dentists.

Avondale House Dental Surgery is conveniently located in Rugeley, which is close to Burton, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, and Uttoxeter. Additionally, major cities like Derby, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Stoke are all less than 45 minutes away.

Description of Post/Role

The opportunity at Avondale House is available on a full-time basis, to give our new dentist the best opportunity to establish themselves and to maximise on the opportunities available.

We are able to offer an attractive and higher than average UDA rate of £14, with a low needs list and the potential for excellent private earnings. The number of UDAs available ranges from 5100 upwards.

 As a practice, we are actively growing the private patient base and income opportunities for our associates. We are also able to offer up to 55% on private income earned to our new associate. The surgery has an increasing and growing base of patients requesting composite bonding and clear brace cases as well as private crowns, tooth whitening and cosmetic restorations.

 We also provide internal CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities for all our staff.

The Practice Team

Our Team is made up of 5 dentists all of whom are very experienced and on hand to offer additional support, advice and help as needed – the practice owner having been a FD trainer for 5 years. We have a stable and experienced base of dental nurses.

You will enjoy full clinical freedom. The surgery is well-equipped with modern dental technology, including iTero scanners, digital x-rays, and rotary endodontic equipment.
