Are you looking to develop your skill-set and join one of the fastest growing dental groups in the UK? We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Pay Supervisor to join us.

We are looking for a hardworking individual to support the Clinical Pay Manager/Remuneration Manager and Payroll Assistant with the normal day to day running of the Clinical Pay function for approximately 250 self-employed dentists and hygienists. Primarily the role will focus on the finance element of the function, with the reconciliation of key accounts each month. Will be responsible for prioritising and dealing with queries and requests in a timely and professional manner from both the self-employed Clinicians and Practice/Support colleagues.

The role as a Clinical Pay Supervisor:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of laboratory invoices, retentions, superannuation, etc. in our Finance package; Business Central.
  • Responsible for checking and approving laboratory invoices in Continia and liaising with dentists/practices/lab suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • Process self-employed payments to clinicians for all 30+ practices, with draft pay slips circulated 3 days prior to payment and payment as per agreed timetables; 3 cycles per month.
  • Responsible for generating and posting journals in Business Central.
  • Reviewing payment data from the practice management software (Dentally) for accuracy and to resolve queries with Practice Managers.
  • Logging and resolution of any clinical pay enquiries. This will include taking queries over the phone and monitoring the email inbox.
  • Ensure process notes are kept up to date.
  • Working closely with HR to ensure full, accurate information is entered into Cascade HR system.
  • Assist with Auditors queries for clinical pay related Audit queries and questions.
  • Processing new starts / leavers and liaise HR / practices as required to resolve any queries and to obtain missing information.

Qualifications Required:

  • AAT level 4 or qualified

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with reconciliations and balance sheets essential.
  • Knowledge of Cascade preferable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Caragon desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Continia/Business Central/Microsoft Dynamics desirable but not essential.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve independently and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and interactive organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office setting, prioritising deadlines over other work.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of GDPR.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
