Associate Dentist

Associate Dentist / Tavistock, Devon / Full or Part Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dynamic independently owned dental practice located in Tavistock, Devon who are looking to recruit an Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis.

• Eight chairs, digitally led family owned practice with lots of support.
• Position available immediately.
• Notice periods are taken into consideration.
• Full or part time opportunity with flexibility on the days required.
• Surgery space Monday to Friday 8.15-17.15.
• Candidate will be joining a mainly Private working environment.
• Patient base consists of approximately 75% Private and 25% exempt only NHS.
• Small UDA allocation of 2000-2500 at £13 (50% of UDA contract value).
• High grossing Private list with remuneration to be discussed.
• Dentist will be required to manage a list of Fee Per Item, membership plan (no capitation) and exempt NHS patients.
• The successful clinician will inherit an established list from retiring Partner.
• Practice invests heavily in their staff and can offer co-funding towards a variety of post graduate courses.
• Computerised with Dentally, DTX Image Management Software and Microsoft 365.
• Access to CBCT Scanner, Kavo i1700 Intraoral Scanner brand new Decon and kits with tray system and four handed dentistry.
• Eight surgery dental practice, with brand new chairs in most surgeries.
• Seven Associates currently in situ.
• Dentist will also have clinical support from experienced and qualified Nurses, plus a Hygienist and Therapist.
• Marketing and business support is provided.
• Foundation approved practice that can offer a supportive working environment suitable for both more experienced and newly qualified Dentists.
• The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Short Term Ortho and Digital Dentistry.
• All skill sets are welcome.
• Dedicated staff parking is available with own staff car park.
• Practice has been established 50+ years and has recently undergone huge investment.
• Well-presented practice situated within a 200 year old manor house.
• Practice has an outstanding reputation for providing quality dentistry, evidenced by a high Google Review rating.

All candidates must be registered with the GDC and hold an active Performer Number to be considered. A recent DBS certificate will be required on request.
