Job description
We are looking for an associate dentist to join our friendly, experienced practice team in St Helens. We are a well-established dental practice and have a large NHS patient base with great potential for private. We are looking for a dentist who can engage with our patients and provide the best level of care.
- Mainly NHS with excellent potential for private work 50% split on any private work completed Up to 40 Hours per week
- Flexible working days available
- The practice has St Helens Junction Train station just a few minutes’ walk away and free parking available
- SOE/ Exact Dental Software used at the practice
- Digital x-rays used
- 50/50 on all lab bills
Requirements
- Must be GDC Registered & Indemnified
- Must have a performer number
- Minimum 1 years’ experience post qualification

I've always had an extreme phobia of the dentist through bad experiences and therefore avoided. I developed an abscess after leaving a filling that had fallen out and after trying to cope with it for over a week I finally plucked up the courage to go the dentist. I rang my old dentist to which they told me as I hadn't been since 2014 I was unregistered so they gave me the number of an emergency appointment service. I rang and was given an appointment 2 hours later with Junction Lane Dental Surgery after googling reviews I felt better about going and when I arrived I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and staff. The dentist asked me if i would like it to be taken out which I did, they extracted my tooth with no pain (not even the needle pain) within 10/15 minutes from numbing to the tooth being out. They went through everything step by step and made me feel at ease. All the worrying definately wasn't worth it and I would reccommend this dentist. Thank you for curing my phobia of dentists
