The Opportunity:

A unique opportunity to join a modern, supportive, fully private, non-corporate practice in the beautiful coastal Cornish town of Falmouth. The practice is located a 10 minute walk from Gyllyngvase beach and has a huge local demand for treatment, which will provide a superb earning potential.

You will be working in a brand new, state of the art, highly equipped surgery with a Zeiss operating microscope, iTero 5D scanner, Aquacut, Start-X rotary endo, Elements free obturation, digital SLR camera, speed increasing handpiece, and digital phosphor plate radiographs. You would also have the support of a highly skilled therapist, hygienist, and implantologist.

The principal dentist has an MSc in Endodontics so there would be an opportunity to avoid providing root canal treatment if desired.

Remuneration:

Will be competitive and depend on the materials you require, additional equipment, postgraduate qualifications, and experience.

 

Qualifications:

As a minimum you will need an approved degree in dentistry as well as a GDC registration. Further qualifications, special interests or specialisms would be an advantage. We would expect significant experience of restorative work under rubber dam.

We would also like to see evidence of postgraduate certificates and qualifications.

 

Portfolio:

You should have a portfolio to demonstrate the quality of your clinical techniques reflecting your experience and outcomes.

 

Days/Hours:

Monday 2pm – 8pm

Thursday 2pm – 8pm

Friday 2pm – 8pm

We plan to open an additional surgery within 6 months, which will open additional days and hours to include the possibility of 7:45am – 1:45pm morning clinics.
