Part Time Associate / Locum Dentist

Stacksteads Dental Practice is looking for an ethical and caring Associate / Locum Dentist to join our fantastic team.

We are an independently owned, 4-surgery Practice based in the Rossendale Valley, and have been serving the local community for over 30 years. Our supportive team comprises two Principal Dentists (one with a history of training foundation dentists) who are here every day, a Locum Dentist, two therapists and experienced nurses.

The role is extremely flexible in terms of days and hours available, and our requirements of you.

There will be some NHS commitment (a minimum of 2500 UDAs), but you can do more if you like. If you would rather, you may focus on building a private list (Denplan and PAYG) alongside the NHS commitment.

£15 per UDA for Associates
£425 per day for Locums
50% split on labs and private treatments
Use of a therapist
Rotary endo
Clinipad SOE and Exact
Full clinical freedom

Start date ASAP

The successful candidate must be GDC registered with a current & active performer number and appropriate indemnity.

We understand the reluctance of Associates to commit to NHS work, but we promise not to pass all the high needs patients on to you. Such patients will be fairly shared out between dentists, and we feel that £15 per UDA is excellent remuneration. We also promise not to pressure you to sell private work or give you any such targets.

We currently do not offer short term orthodontics, composite bonding/smile makeovers, Botox or implants but we would certainly be supportive of anyone keen to develop in any of these areas.

We currently do not have a website or social media presence but please do not let that put you off - this is a work in progress for 2023!
