About this opportunity 

We're looking for a Clinical Support Specialist to be relocated to our branch in Costa Rica for an initial period of two years. 

You will be responsible for clinical communication and support to external and internal customers. In addition, you will support with graphics and presentation materials for sales and clinical education materials as well as day to day needs of University and research programs.
You work closely with the Staff Orthodontist and Clinical Managers from other areas, providing ideas for improvement in the Clinical Group and the production plant. Close working relationship with Managers from other departments in search of opportunities for improvement will be an important part of your role.

In this role, you will… 

  • Provide clinical customer support to orthodontists and general dentists in the areas of case evaluation, ClinCheck support as well as clinical troubleshooting, secondary orders, primarily but not limited to UK doctors.
  • Assist with creation of powerpoint presentations, digital images and scans for sales materials as well as clinical education materials, specifically case book and publications.
  • Investigate and analyse Clinical-related customer inquiries, complaints and adverse events.
  • Assist in writing and developing training protocols, including assistance with study clubs and doctor visits from the North America region.
  • Assist with ClinCheck quality monitoring processes and clinical profiling process for targeted customers.
  • This individual must demonstrate ability to provide clinical leadership to group of technicians, working closely with a local clinical specialist (from Costa Rica).
  • In charge of constant supervision of the technicians to guarantee high clinical quality standards in Align products and services.
  • Propose ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved service and customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements.

In this role, you’ll need … 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • A Dental degree or Dental Technician degree is required for this position
  • Registered with the United Kingdom General Dental Council as a dentist or a dental technician
  • Proficiency in English, Spanish beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
