Are you looking to develop your skill-set and join one of the fastest growing dental groups in the UK? We are recruiting for a Decontamination Assistant to join us at Together Dental.

This is a full-time job opportunity working at our Norwich Earlham practice, 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday. To carry out the decontamination and sterilisation of all dental instruments and medical devices complying with all policies and procedures for use by our Dental Care Professionals.

Decontamination duties:

  • Decontamination and sterilisation of all medical devices to comply with practice policies and procedures
  • Inspect, package and store all dental instruments for use
  • Assist in instrument stock rotation
  • Working alongside the practice manager, senior nurses and other dental staff to ensure practice is operating sufficiently with appropriate equipment in use
  • Once instruments have been sterilised, checked and suitable for use, store in the ‘clean’ containers available in decontamination room.
  • Comply with all health and safety, fire, security and other policies/regulations of Together Dental to ensure safe working practices and a safe working environment.
  • Perform daily tests on processing equipment
  • Cleaning treatment rooms, as described by the cleaning schedule provided
