Associate Dentist

Fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven dentist to join a busy and popular mixed NHS/private practice in the very affluent area of Dore, Sheffield. The successful applicant will be taking on a well-established NHS list with amazing opportunity for additional private income. We are offering UP TO £15 PER UDA. The practice provides both general and specialist dental treatment, including specialist oral surgery, implants (all-cases, including sinus lifts), endodontics and orthodontic treatment (through Invisalign); as well as the usual cosmetic treatments including whitening, crowns/veneers and composite bonding. Almost all treatment can be referred in-house and support will be given to any successful applicant hoping to pursue a special interest in any of these fields. 

We have an iTero scanner on site and there is plenty of opportunity for an existing Invisalign provider to take on new cases at Dore (we have a huge demand at the practice for Invisalign). Any GDP wanting to train in Invisalign would be supported by the practice and would have the opportunity to be mentored by our principal dentist, who has many years experience as a comprehensive Invisalign provider. We are an Invisalign Platinum II Level Practice and have new Invisalign cases on a weekly basis.

Dore Dental Care is fully computerised with digital radiographs and Software of Excellence. We use the highest quality of materials and equipment, including rotary endo (with zero charge to the associate for use of the pro-taper files for all cases - including NHS).

The opportunity has just opened and we are looking for someone who will fit into the practice and our 'dental family'. We have an excellent local reputation and always strive to provide the most up-to-date and highest standard of patient care. We have an average rating of 5 star for Google Reviews.

We have a hygiene & therapist at the practice who completes periodontal treatment, routine restorations, oral health education, etc as prescribed by our dentist. Not only does this help to provide the patient's with the highest quality of care, it also enable's our dentist's to have time in their busy patient diaries for more complex treatment, including crowns, veneers, whitening.

We are a young, family run practice group and have an internal support system for the successful candidate, including regular discussions/meetings with our clinicians, social activities and an ethos of a work family with an open door policy.

Marketing promotions are frequently completed within the practice group (at no cost to the clinicians) to provide maximum opportunity for private treatment.

UDA Target: 2600-3000 UDAs per year (can be negotiated)

UDA Rate: £12.25-£15.00 (depending on experience)

Private: 50:50 Split

Lab Bills: 50:50 Split

Clinical Days Per Week: 2-3 days per week
