Private Associate Dentist – 4.5 days per week

Oakmead Dental Care is based in the premium area of Chislehurst near Bromley, SE London and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hardworking full time associate dentist to succeed a departing colleague, following his retirement.

Chislehurst is an affluent part of South East London with excellent travel connections – only 20 minutes to central London and convenient motorway access M20/M25. The practice has an established High Street presence of over 50 years.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high achieving general dental practitioner with long term plans to work in a friendly and efficient practice that is well known in the community.

This existing well established and maintained list is for a 4.5 days per week plus every other Saturday morning. We are currently gaining new patients every week so there is a fantastic opportunity to consolidate this list for an ambitious individual.

Currently the list is 92% fee paying adult private patients and 8% NHS U18 service. Current earnings are in the region of £220,000+ gross p.a. This is based upon a hard work ethic combined with an enthusiasm for the job.

Starting time would be 3-5months – so around November 2022- to allow for efficient succession.

The Practice is a BDA Accredited Good Practice Award recipient 2015-2022 inclusive. You would be supported by a strong and experienced management team who are keen to ensure a smooth transition for all our very loyal patients.

We are a general dental practice and you would be working alongside two experienced associates and three experienced hygienists. The practice provides general dental services as well as implant services and Invisalign.  If you have a particular speciality we would consider any introduction on the basis of your experience, speciality and practice need. Our departing colleague offers the practice Invisalign service, so any applicant would ideally need to be proficient in this.

We provide daily hygienist clinics supported by a team of three hygienists, 6 days a week.

The Dental Operating System is SOE and we use a Vista Scan digital x-ray service. You would be fully supported by an experienced team of in house GDC registered dental nurses. You would have your own fully air conditioned surgery.

Our team of reception staff offer outstanding support to all clinicians and aim to provide a fantastic service to all our patients.

We are seeking a well-adjusted experienced general practitioner with other interests outside of dentistry. who has a keen sense of detail and humour. Current GDC registration and excellent communicative skills are essential.
