Together Dental is one of the fastest dental groups in the UK which currently consists of a growing number of dental practices. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join us and dual site across two of our practices, Wandsworth and Clapham. Please note, you do not need dental experience - what we're looking for is a real people leader!

Both Together Dental Wandworth and Clapham are fully equipped, mixed NHS and private practice. Both easily reached by public transport.

As a Business Development Manager here at Together Dental, you will be responsible for driving our practice’s performance by delivering set objectives relating to patient care. But overall, we are looking for a confident and compassionate leader who is eager to take the practice to the next level and develop on its strengths.

The role as a Business Development Manager:

  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop the Practice team to achieve the practice performance targets and KPI’s.
  • Planning income targets for practice, then reviewing & analysing P&L to ensure you achieve or exceed
  • Create an individual Practice Business Plan and implement the ongoing actions. Focusing on performance, delivery, KPI’s and future growth plans.
  • Build and sustain close working relationships with clinicians to achieve engagement and motivation of clinical colleagues and maximise performance.
  • Proactively marketing your practice to drive patient numbers
  • Ensuring the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines
  • Recruit the Practice team including interviewing, selection and appointment of new employees and ensuring a satisfactory induction is completed. Assist with selecting and/or onboarding clinicians where appropriate
  • Develop team members through regular 1-2-1s, coaching and performance reviews, driving excellent performance through effective performance management and providing continuous feedback.

  • Commercially minded individual with fantastic interpersonal skills
  • Confident in leading a team with all levels of ability
  • Understanding of how to generate income and control costs
  • The ability to conduct difficult conversations & deal promptly with issues when they arise
