Through practice acquisition, and increased private opportunities, Westmount Dental now have space for forward-thinking Associates to join our growing dental group.

Westmount Dental Group consists of four dental practices, with locations across the North East of England. In total, we are fortunate to have 94 people that work across our group, including 16 General Dental Practitioners and Specialist Dental Practitioners.

We are a dynamic dental group, and believe that progression happens by listening and taking on board what team members and patients have to say. We have invested greatly in the equipment of our practices as well as the development of our Associates.

We now are looking for enthusiastic Associates that want to further develop their career, and slowly transition into providing more private treatments.

Locations:

Sunderland (SR4) and South Tyneside (NE32) and Middlesbrough (TS5)

The Ideal Associate:

A forward thinking individual, who wishes to work in a modern dental practice, with a team that cares and listens. The Associate must be keen to develop their skills over a period of time and be open to post-graduate courses and education.

They must have a plan for personal and professional development that our practice can work alongside to help nurture their progression. Although a big part of the position is NHS Dentistry, the Associate must also been keen to develop skills in Private Dentistry in an ethical, steady and safe environment.

The Offer:

• Full-time (4 days including 1 late night till 7pm)
• 3000-6000 UDAs- there’s NO TARGET- Work at your own pace!!!
• Working alongside Dental Therapist
• 45% Private Split
• Courses fully paid for as described below (max 3 courses per year)
• Up to 6 weeks annual leave
• Up to 10 days Study Leave

Training and Support Provided:

At Westmount, we are true believers of post-graduate education and personal and professional development. We believe in a steady approach towards learning consisting of courses, mentorship and experience. Over the years our Principal Dentist has trained alongside several well renowned clinicians which has helped developed him, as well as our other Associates in many disciplines. With this in mind, Westmount Dental is happy to fully fund the following courses which we feel can help develop a well-rounded clinician over a 3-5 year period:

• Completely Dentures by Mark Bishop
• Ethical Sales and Communication by Ashley Latter
• Photography and Record Taking by Salman Siddiqi
• Align, Bleach and Bond Course by Tif Qureshi
• Totally Composite by Monik Vasant
• Anterior and Posterior Prep Course by Attiq Rahman
• Invisalign Certification.

Alongside the above named courses, Westmount also has a full Practice level subscription to Dentinal Tubules which has a multitude of lectures, seminars, Live courses and discussions available for hours of learning.

As mentioned above, we also have a sister practice which is a Fully Private Specialist-led Referral Clinic. This can provide excellent 1-2-1 support by a number of highly qualified clinicians who can help with tricky cases, Treatment planning and Mentorship also.

The Practice

Westmount Dental is a fully Associate-led mixed Practice based in the North East of England across 3 locations; Sunderland, Jarrow and Middlesbrough. We provide both NHS and Private cosmetic dental treatments in a modern environment and are a Diamond Invisalign and Dental Implant providers in the North East. We invest in technology and training for our teams, as well as providing our Associates with weekly private opportunities through an effective and established marketing department.

All of our Associates have access to a team of Registered Specialists (at our sister specialist-led referral practice in Gateshead) and have the opportunity to be mentored should they wish.

Our Practice has:

• Modern & well-equipped surgeries
• OPG Equipment
• CT Scanning Equipment
• Intra-Oral Scanners for digital impressions (4 Itero scanners and an Omnicam across the group)
• 3D printing and Laboratory facilities (Denture Technician and soon adding Crown and Bridge and Implant Services)
• Wave-One Rotary Endodontic Equipment with apex locators for both NHS and Private care
• DSLR camera equipment
• Intra-oral cameras
• Access to an NHS Therapist and a Private Hygienist to assist associates with any high-need patients
• A robust marketing engine including a dedicated Treatment Coordinator providing associates with high-value private treatment opportunities.
• Dedicated Private Consultation slots on a weekly basis to carry out 1-hour long Clinical examination on potential advanced or cosmetic cases. (On average 2 slots per Associate, per week)
• We have a dedicated Head of Team, a role designed to support the onboarding, welfare and progression of our teams.
• We have a dedicated Head of Marketing, a role designed to provide a continuous source of high quality patients seeking life changing treatments, as well as helping each individual to grow their own social media presence and showcase their work.
• We have a dedicated Head of Operations to allow smooth day to day running of all our practices.
• We have a dedicated Head of Patient Experience to ensure we provide the best service for our patients as well as supporting our clinicians manage any complaints.
• We have a Head of Finance to ensure all money dealings are accurate and on time.
