Orthodontist Auckland – New Zealand

The Auckland Hospital & Specialist Dentistry Team (HSD) is part of New Zealand’s largest hospital dental service and provides hospital-based secondary and tertiary level specialist oral health services for people living in the greater metropolitan Auckland area (1.7 million people). A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join this HSD team as a specialist orthodontist. You will be joining a supportive team of two part-time orthodontists and a wider, multidisciplinary team of dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeons, plastic surgeons, dental specialists and dentists. The primary focus of the role is caring for children with cleft lip and palate, and additionally contributing to the care of a diverse group of patients with other craniofacial abnormalities. The post is based at Middlemore Hospital, South Auckland. You will also have opportunities for ongoing professional development, as well as the potential for research involvement.
This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week.
