Foundation Dentist +1 with Mentor

At Garston Dental Practice we recognise that following a dentist's foundation year the transition into your first self-employed associate role may be challenging.   

With Garston's FD+1 scheme you shall be designated an experienced dentist to support and guide you throughout the year. 

Our FD+1 scheme will help you develop all the skills enabling you to become a confident young associate. 

We recognise that each of you will have different areas which you want to develop alongside general dentistry such as restorative work, Invisalign, endodontics, oral surgery and we are able to support this in-house with the opportunity to work alongside our private associates at our sister practice The Dental Cafe. You shall also be supported with additional training courses such as Invisalign Go and annual CPD. 

As part of our opportunity we offer full and part time hours and a minimum contract starting at just 3000 UDA's. You will work alongside an experienced support team of qualified professionals including a hygienist and therapist, onsite principle and a small operations team providing clinical and administrative support and guidance. 

The practice is located in the village of Garston, Liverpool and has been established for more than 70 years holding strong relationships with the local dental committee. Garston Dental Practice works as an urgent dental care provider and appointed  to support the Covid-19 recovery plan with our principle being a board member.  

The role of Foundation Dentist +1 has become available to support the ongoing commitment we have to our local area team and the wider community of Garston.
