Trainee Dental Nurse

We are on the lookout for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team in Knaresborough!

The Role:

As a Dental Nurse your daily tasks will include;

• Providing excellent care for all patients ensuring they have a great experience when visiting the dental centre.
• Providing chairside assistance to the clinicians during all dental procedures.
• Decontamination of instruments.
• Updating patient records and recording notes.
• Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments.
• Maintaining equipment.
• Decontamination of surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls.
• You will be supported day to day by the Lead Dental Nurse & Dental Nurse Mentor who will provide you with advice and guidance to develop the skills and knowledge you require for a successful dental nursing career.

The ideal candidate:

Experience is not necessary; however, we are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and committed individual who is organised, reliable and computer literate. You will have a positive approach to work as well as a calm, confident and reassuring manner with the ability to communicate and relate well with people.

We will support you to enrol on a suitable Dental Nurse training programme if you are not already enrolled.
