Who we are

We are a forward thinking practice looking to provide the best for patients and our team. Not only in regards to treatment but also work environment. Covid has been stressful for all of us and we feel that you need to be supported now more than ever

Why are we different and what opportunities can we offer

We have a vision of creating a team of dentists who are passionate about dentistry and have the opportunities to use those skills. How? We have an extremely experienced implantologist/cosmetic dentist who can help you develop your clinical skills. We also have dentists who understand how to communicate the value of these skills to your patients.

Our implantologist has 20 years of experience and works between this site and some others placing implants and doing cosmetic dentistry. He like our principle is keen to pass along their knowledge because for some reason we've entered this period in which dental skills are hoarded and locked behind walls which are costly to unlock. If you have a case which you want to do or want to watch one of his cases or even just get his mentorship these are all things we can offer. He currently mentors 3 other dentists who have found his direct supervision have helped them immensely in their careers.

Also we're fun! We have a great environment with great people and most days we can confidently say you're going to be leaving with a smile on your face. Our practice owner likes to make it a key point that you work in a positive environment and if you're stressed with something feel free to share the burden. We have all had that feeling of dread when going to work especially the last two years. This is not anything we want anyone to experience and we will do our very best to help you. We've had associates who have needed extra time off or been struggling with other commitments and we have moved things around to help them get back on their feet.

The Practice

The practice has been well established for 50+ years. It has a very stable NHS list with a substantial waiting list so completing target has never been an issue. We genuinely have lovely patients. I feel many practices say this but have little to provide proof. One of our associates has been here for 15 years and another has been for 30 which I feel speaks volumes. We've had families who have gone through 3 generations at the same practice and some are registering the 4th. All of our staff have lived locally for years so they know our patients very well.

The surgeries are modern and we are looking to redecorate parts of the practice to keep in line with our vision of the future. We're expanding our range of treatments to our patients and developing a team of dentists who want to increase their clinical skills. We like to encourage each dentist to do what they want to do! Be it restorative, endo or general dentistry. This means we can provide you with stability and the experiences you want.

We provide full admin support, so you can focus on your role as a dentist. We have a great practice manager and staff that help with this. They're a great team. As they're all from the local area and the majority of them have been here 10+ years they know the patients really well. It means they're great at handling any issues at the desk, help you get along with patients and they're all very quick to offer a cup of coffee!

Associates have the opportunity to have true full clinical support for both NHS and private treatments. If you want advice on what courses to do, books to read or help with cases we're happy to help. If you have any tricky cases or difficult patients we encourage you to speak to the other dentists for advice and help. A fresh eye or a second voice is a great way to resolve any difficulties. We have a great team with a combined experience of 70 years so we feel confident in saying we can help with near enough any situation.

The reason the wage range is so wide is because it is dependent upon the kind of dentistry you want to provide. If you would like to keep things simple and do your NHS side only it means a basic wage of £77'000. If you choose to do simple private treatment or complex private treatment your wage would increase accordingly. We cannot stress enough, there is not a requirement to do private dentistry. It is to demonstrate the opportunity is there for you but wholeheartedly dependent upon the kind of dentistry you want to do.

Happy to move days around when other dentists are off so you can have a long weekend otherwise we try to be flexible whenever we can.

Who are we looking for

Our ideal person is someone who gels with our team and shares our goal of providing high quality dental care no matter if it is NHS or private. There is an NHS commitment but we do not drive targets for private dentistry.

We are looking to expand our treatments and bring in dentists who also share this vision. However we understand each person has different ideas for the future. Mainly what we would like is someone who wants to be a part of our team. Stability is key for us. This means it also needs to be stable for you. This is why we would like to honestly know what you want to do in your career. If you want to be a general dentist who works in a nice environment that is great! If you want to be a restorative specialist that is great too! Either way be honest with us and we will support you in your goal.

We would love someone who is experienced but understand sometimes to gain an experience you need an opportunity. This could be yours.
