Dental Nurse

We are pleased to announce that a wonderful opportunity has arisen for an additional dental nurse to become a part of our expanding, friendly and dedicated team.

Long Crendon Dental is a small independent, private dental practice located in the village of Long Crendon, just outside Thame. We are a 3-surgery general practice with an interest in dental implants, Invisalign and high quality general family dentistry.

Salary: From £25,000.00 per year (equivalent to £13.50 an hour)

Salary subject to negotiation based on qualifications

We are looking to recruit a Dental Nurse to join our experienced team at Long Crendon Dental.

LCD is a long established practice with a fine reputation for excellent care.

LCD is a family run practice situated in a beautiful village with onsite staff parking.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to learn new skills.

We provide onsite team training sessions and support to meet CPD requirements.

We encourage and enable staff to gain further qualifications.

Candidate requirements:

- GDC registration

- Appropriate indemnity cover

- Excellent communication skills

- Proficient IT skills

- Additional qualifications desirable but not essential

- Ability to work efficiently and professionally with all team members

Key responsibilities & duties:

• Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting clinicians in all procedures in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses, the GDC’s ‘Scope of Practice’
• Follow all practice policies and procedures including a high standard of infection prevention control
• Assist with Reception duties including patient contact and other clerical duties as required
• Establish, promote and maintain productive working relationships with all of the team
• Ensure all professional conduct adheres to our Long Crendon Dental “Values & Standards Policy”

• Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work

This is a full time position however we would consider part time flexibility for the right candidate(s).

Monday – Friday 0815 to 1700

Start date: Open for negotiation, but ideally as soon as possible.
