Private Associate Dentist - Full book in long standing town centre practice

Romsey Dental Care is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard-working associate dentist to take on a minimum of 32 clinical hours per week.  The position has become available due to retirement of a long standing colleague and there is a full list ready to take over.  There is scope to extend the hours slightly, but the working days are ideally:

• Monday                                08:15 - 18:15
• Wednesday or Friday          08:15 - 18:15
• Thursday                              08:15 - 18:15
• Saturday                              09:00 - 13:00 (Alternate - Average 2 per month)

Romsey Dental Care is a small but busy, independently owned dental practice in the heart of the market town of Romsey.  The practice benefits from a loyal patient base and has been established for over 25 years.  

We have an excellent cohesive team of qualified and competent staff.  Receptionists who work hard to keep the books full and ensure no overbooking, nurses most of whom are qualified in dental radiography and impression making and dental therapist/hygienists who are happy to work to their full scope of practice.  We regularly bond as a team outside of work and morale is high with staff turnover and sickness days low.  With such a great team working hard to ensure the smooth running of the practice, your time is dedicated to the dentistry!  

We offer full clinical freedom with no ‘corporate’ restrictions and have recently invested in digital technology and are looking to drive this forward. Our practice provides all forms of general dentistry as well as:

• Implants
• Orthodontics (Invisalign)
• Minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry
• Facial aesthetics

The practice benefits from:

• Digital records (R4 Clinical Plus);
• Digital x-ray sensors (immediate image);\
• Onsite OPG machine;
• Intra-oral cameras;
• KaVo patient communication system with chair mounted monitors;
• iTero scanner;
• DSLR cameras.

We offer a fee per item service and the earning potential is high (£100,000 +) with full books and a pro-active reception team.  We are attracting on average 10/20 new patients per week since reopening following the lockdown so there is no shortage of work.  The increase in patient numbers makes now an excellent time for an experienced dentist or an ambitious young dentist looking to establish themselves in the private sector, to come and join our team. 

All applications will be considered.  Start date is immediate but we would wait for the right candidate.  Interviews can be face to face or on zoom/teams initially.  Portfolio is not required.
