What the role involves

Coombe Dental Care are looking for a clinician that is local to the area. We would be accepting both outside and in house referrals. This would be ideal if you have a specialist interest in Straumann dental implants or oral surgery in addition to periodontics however, this is not a necessity for the role.

All items in scope of duty as a Specialist in Periodontics including:

• Diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders (infections and inflammatory) of the gums and other structures around the teeth
• Building on and developing an established and loyal patient list 
• Highest standards of patient and clinical care 
• Support of an experienced and qualified team, and exceptional dental nurses 
• Flexibility required to accommodate new ways of working under Covid 19 conditions
• Friendly and clear communication skills both patient facing and in letters.

What we need from you

• Working Fridays 08:00 to 15:00
• GDC specialist list
• Valid indemnity cover and DBS check
• Fully compliant with a good understanding of CQC
• Vaccinated against Hepatitis B and Covid -19
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills  
• Strong teamwork ability with an enthusiastic attitude  
• Passion for continuous learning and development

About us

Coombe Dental Care was established in 2005 by Dr Belinda Vohra. Her aim was to give all patients high quality care, in a relaxed and calm environment. It is conveniently located out of town and has its own parking area. There is easy disabled access. Patients can either join this care scheme once dentally fit or can pay on a fee per item basis.

Coombe Dental Care is a small and family friendly dental practice on the outskirts of Salisbury. We have a small and effective team consisting of two general dentists, a hygienist and Specialist in Dental Implants. We have a friendly team of fully qualified nurses who play a huge role in the success of our practice.
