Specialist Orthodontist

A great opportunity has become available for a GDC Registered Orthodontist to join our independent, NHS/Private Specialist Orthodontic Group in the North East of England.

We have been offering specialist orthodontics in Sunderland since 2001 and are now embarking on an exciting new project with the award of two new NHS orthodontic contracts within the region in South Shields and Washington, Tyne and Wear.

We currently have a modern, well-equipped, eight surgery orthodontic practice based in Sunderland, each well presented and well equipped to a high standard, fully digital with digital x-ray, intra oral scanner, Orthotrac software and digital cameras.  Our other sites in South Shields and Washington both have two modern similarly equipped surgeries, again with intra oral scanners, digital radiography and orthotrac practice software.

We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist orthodontist to join our team of other orthodontists, therapists and hygienists to manage a substantial NHS orthodontic contract and have a superb opportunity to offer private treatment across our sites.  In return, the practice can offer excellent and negotiable remuneration packages to suit the needs of the successful candidate in the region of £120k for NHS work (with no cost to the associate for NHS labs or use of a therapist for NHS patients).  There is a high private earning potential for the right candidate.

The ideal candidates will be skilled and confident GDC specialist registered and qualified orthodontists with an NHS performer number, able to work independently, manage and supervise hygienists/therapists and support staff.
