DENTAL NURSE - HYDE PARK, LONDON

We're looking for a Dental Nurse to join this established mixed practice in Hyde Park London

This practice offers an extensive range of services delivered with one goal in mind: to create beautiful, confident smiles for all our patients in London and surrounding areas.

We have an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part time Qualified Dental Nurse.

•Saturday only opportunity to work from 8.45am to 5.45pm with 1 hour lunch

Practice information:
2 surgery mixed NHS and private practice, computerised using SOE with digital X-rays and laser machine, intra oral camera, itero and endo microscope. The practice provide general dentistry as well as, cosmetic, orthodontics, dental implants and facial aesthetics.

No car parking on site

What the role involves
•Understand the vision and brand message for the practice, and deliver outstanding customer service experiences
•Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and specialists
•Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
•Prepare equipment, materials, lab work and patients with efficiency and empathy
•Excellent understanding of infection control prevention and procedure
•Assist with maintenance of the surgery
•Maintain the clinical environment and equipment
•Assist with stock orders / control
•Follow all practice systems and procedures
•Following all regulations in the UK such as CQC, GDC standards, GDPR, HTM 01-05, confidentially and consent processes
•Provide outstanding customer service at all times
•Ad hoc receptionist and clerical duties
•Any other ad hoc responsibilities as reasonably requested

What we need from you
•Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC
•Comply with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses
•Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines
•Knowledge of CQC and compliance
•Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
•Friendly and welcoming manner
•Strong teamwork ability with an enthusiastic attitude
•Proficient user of the requisite dental software and Microsoft package
•Vaccinated against Hepatitis B
