Associate Dental Surgeon

Due to relocation of our colleague, we have a position available. We are a long established wholly private practice with a happy well-trained team. The dentists are i fully supported by a qualified dental nurse and experienced and efficient reception staff. There is a long established Denplan list. The hours are flexible with a minimum of 4 sessions and a maximum of 8 available.

The surgeries are modern, well equipped and well maintained. There is a sterilisation suite staffed at all times. We are fully computerised (R4 clinical plus) with digital radiography. We have a rotary endodontic system. The emphasis of the practice is on attaining and maintaining good oral health and we have the services of a hygienist and therapist part time. The candidate will be given complete clinical freedom but the support of a very experienced principal is available if needed. Locally there are several colleagues who concentrate on orthodontics, implantology and endodontics. Any candidate wishing to pursue dental post graduate study will be fully supported.

Remuneration will be considered on a sliding scale for a good performer but a minimum of 45% will be paid after deduction of expenses.

Our departing dentist is happy to provide a reference to any prospective candidate and there may be some practical and financial assistance to help relocate to this lovely area.

Ulverston is a thriving and lively market town on the edge of the Lake District with good housing and schools.  The practice is located in the town centre with free parking close by. The town has a lovely inclusive community spirit and there is easy access to lots of activities to suit everyone.
