If you have qualified in the EU you will be classed as an EU dentist so that makes the GDC registration simpler up to December 2022.

All NHS dentists need to be registered with the NHS to be issued with a performer number.

There are two stages to the application process:

• Registering your application on the PCSE portal.
• Assessment by NHS Area Team that will include an interview, practice visit and assessment of your mentor.

Applications can take anything from 6 to 18 months depending on the area team and your application.

We do have an EU dentist vacancy and our process is subject to NHS authorisation for the dentist and the mentor to commence the mentor agreement in our Practice in Sudbury.

Shift Timings: Days to be agreed flexible between Monday – Friday subject to rotas and mentor availability from 8 am – 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am-1 pm (Therapist role – Private Only).

Essential Requirements:

·       Valid authorisation to work in UK

·       Previous Dentistry experience in UK is preferred.

·       GDC Registration is mandatory

·       Hep B

·       DBS (previously known as CRB)

·       Indemnity Insurance

·       2 x Clinical References

 UDA Value: Upto £10 per UDA for EU Dentists

 UDAs: 5000 UDAs for EU Dentists working full time.

The UDA value will increase to market rate after the completion of this training period. Your UDA targets will also be increased, and this is to be agreed mutually.

Both UDA value and targets will depend on your performance during your training period and your value will be in line with the market rate.

Your performance will be reviewed by the practice management on a regular basis.

We can support your relocation dependent on the location and needs subject to T&Cs.
