An exciting and very unique opportunity to join a team of 14 specialists providing multidisciplinary care on a referral only basis at Edinburgh Dental Specialists, Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Dental Specialists was established in 1994 and has a reputation second to none within the local community and throughout Scotland. The premises are situated over 5 floors, in the heart of the city centre on Rose Street, which is known for its restaurants, bars and boutiques. The established team of clinicians are supported by a fantastic team of dental nurses, and administrative colleagues, many of whom have been with EDS for years and provide a wealth of experience and expertise. In addition, there is a fully equipped laboratory on-site.

• Hours are negotiable from 2 days to 4 days per week.

Edinburgh Dental Specialists are seeking the right specialist colleague to join the existing team. Your area of responsibility will be in providing prosthodontic/restorative care to patients referred from over 500 Scottish practices. You will be expected to provide a full range of restorative care managing referrals for:

- comprehensive full mouth treatment
- fixed and removable prosthodontics
- Implant planning and restoration from single tooth to full arch (we benefit from one consultant Maxillofacial surgeon, two oral surgeons and Prof of Implantology who provide all surgical support.)
- TMJ/TMD issues
- Second opinions
- Clinical advice

The successful candidate will wish to become fully involved with the team, participating in weekly clinical discussions and contribute to educational opportunities for referring clinicians. Our approach is to provide as much support, education and advice to our referring community as possible and we will be delighted for you to participate in this.

The successful candidate will also benefit from direct mentoring from the existing clinical lead throughout the induction period.
