Job overview
This post is part of an expansion of our Paediatric Dentistry departments in Liverpool in recognition of the local and regional need for a high quality consultant led specialist network across Cheshire & Merseyside.
The post is a joint post in collaboration with Alder Hey Children's Hospital and will involve cross site working, with 6 PAs based at Liverpool University Dental Hospital and 4 PAs at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
The AAC has been arranged for 12 July 2021.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have a pivotal role in the development of Paediatric Dentistry services in Liverpool University Dental Hospital and Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, engaging with key stakeholders with the aim of improving child oral health across our region.
Multi-disciplinary clinical care is central to the clinical aspect of the post and sub-specialty interests will be supported.
The post-holder will also participate in the training and continuing education of junior hospital staff and undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
