Dental Technician

MediMatch Dental Laboratory is a large, busy lab located in North Acton, London. We produce custom made NHS and Private dental devices and work with dentists from all over the country, including Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. MediMatch is a growing company and has successfully opened subsidiaries in France, Italy, and The Republic of Ireland.
MediMatch is looking for someone with dental knowledge to join the office administrative team. This position is ideal for someone that has theoretical dental knowledge and or experience as a dental technician but would like to be to office based. This position will broaden your knowledge on the day-to-day cases and the steps each case goes through from the initial impressions to the finished product.
Role:
· Open and check cases upon arrival.

· Discuss and problem solve cases with the dentists.

· Communicate with dental surgeries regarding their patient appointment dates.

· Administer prescriptions into our computer system.

· Invoice completed cases.

· More responsibilities can be offered if candidate performs well (additionally GDC registered candidates may have the opportunity to progress within the company).

Desired Skills:

- Experience or a qualification within dentistry is preferred (biology qualifications will also be considered)

- Have excellent spoken and written English.

- Have at least basic IT and Microsoft skills.

- Have great attention to detail.

- Be a motivated quick learner.

- Able to work independently and within a team.

- Be located in London or able to relocate to London quickly and easily.

Position is available for full time only, Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm.

20 days holiday (+bank holidays)

Starting Wage range offered between £21,600 - £26,400 gross per year.

The position is based on (at least) a year contract (opportunity for permanent contact after 2 years).

Successful candidates will be offered an initial interview via zoom, followed by a trial day.
