The University of Edinburgh is seeking to appoint a part-time Director (Senior Clinical Lecturer) for its well-established 3-year online MSc/Diploma/Certificate in Restorative Dentistry programme.   The appointee will manage the development and delivery of the programme of study leading to the award of an MSc, Diploma, or Certificate in Restorative Dentistry dependent on point of exit from the course.

This is a fixed term three-year appointment in the first instance.  The post is graded as a Senior Clinical Lecturer (AM3B) but does not carry honorary consultant status.

An Honorary NHS contract will be sought for the successful post holder. You therefore must be eligible to hold an honorary contract with NHS Lothian, and must also be registered with the General Dental Council.

 Your skills and attributes for success:

·         Postgraduate Dental Degree or similar relevant qualification

 

·         Current clinical post in restorative dentistry, general practice or clinical post with relevance to restorative dentistry

 

·         Experience of dental postgraduate education and teaching
