Part Time Associate Dentist – Soar Valley Dental Practice

Soar Valley Dental Practice is a well established, mainly private dental practice in the beautiful village of Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire. We thrive on the relationships we build with our patients,  we offer a comprehensive range of services to our loyal patients and Ash the Principal Dentist has worked here (forever) 20 years, he loves being part of the community.  We are growing and are looking for an amazing Associate Dentist to join our crew.  We want someone who is looking for their dental home, a place to frow, have fun and be part of a dental experience like no other.

The practice is a founder member of CODE’s prestigious Quality Practice Scheme and has recently been renovated, it has three brand new state of the art surgeries, a spacious patient lounge and dedicated care suite.  We are fully computerised, with digital x-rays, intra oral cameras, rotary endodontic system with X-smart.  We have a skilled management team, highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist and Therapist, an established Treatment Coordination service to support dentists and patients and highly trained and GDC registered support team.

We believe that continual education is important in keeping our team and services the very best it can be.  We pride ourselves in providing our existing and new patients with the very best service, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME and going the extra mile is standard for our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mixed Private and NHS position

fixed days per week (1.5 days Private and 1 day NHS)

You will inherit one day of existing plan patients with great opportunity to expand private base

Great opportunity to develop new skills under supervision

Competitive UDA rates

Excellent renumeration for Private work – 40% of an enhanced fee list

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:

•  Full NHS Performer Number
•  Local Area Team confirmation
•  GDC certificate
•  UK Blood test report showing Hep B immunisation and titre levels, Hep C, HIV and TB results dated within last 5 years
•  Indemnity certificate
•  Passport
•  Enhanced DBS (within the last 12-36 months)
• Clinical references covering places of employment over past 2 years (minimum 2 referees)
• Degree certificate
• CPR/AED/Medical Emergencies certificate dated within the last 12 months
• IRMER
• PIN number
