Associate Dentist

Derwent Street is a family-friendly private practice, situated in the center of Belper.  We offer a very high level of general dental care. Our team consists of highly experienced and skilled professionals with outstanding patient care at the heart of all they do. 

We now look forward to welcoming an enthusiastic Associate Dentist to the group on a part-time basis, between Monday – Friday. This would suit someone with the enthusiasm and commitment to learn and develop their skills. Experience with implants, Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry highly desirable.

As a dental practice we are fanatical about hygiene, and now even more than ever. We’ve redesigned how we operate to allow for social distancing as well as a full decontamination clean of the practice between patients and all surgeries have an air purifier installed. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Preventative, general and cosmetic dentistry 
• Willingness to build upon existing patient list, and develop in the future 
• Highest standards of patient and clinical care 
• Private dental and Denplan available 
• Surgery opening hours are Monday – Friday between 8am – 7pm 
• This role will be one or two days per week 
• Flexibility required to accommodate new ways of working under Covid-19 conditions

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 

• Demonstrable practical experience across the full range of general dentistry 
• Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC 
• Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines 
• Knowledge of CQC and compliance
