Senior Clinical Lecturer in Endodontics/Restorative Dentistry (Honorary Consultant)

School of Dentistry, College of Biomedical & Life Sciences

Cardiff University, College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, School of Dentistry is seeking a senior clinical academic to lead its Endodontic speciality dentistry provision in postgraduate and undergraduate education.

Working with colleagues, the successful candidate will be required to develop the teaching provision in endodontic dentistry in the School, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality research-led teaching at both postgraduate (MClinDent) undergraduate (BDS) level, pursuing excellence in teaching and pedagogy and to inspire others to do the same. This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a real contribution to the teaching
and training of primarily postgraduate, students studying at the School of Dentistry, Cardiff University.

The successful candidate will be awarded an appropriate honorary contract
by Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

This post is available from March 2021, is full time and open-ended.

Salary: £79,957 - £103,806 per annum (D6 scale) - an appointment will be made on the appropriate point of the Clinical Academic Consultant scale.

This position provides eligibility for clinical commitment awards. These are awarded automatically in the absence of an unsatisfactory job plan review once a Consultant has reached top of scale and then at 3 yearly intervals thereafter.
