Clinical Lecturer in Primary Dental Care (Oral Diagnosis and Urgent Dental Care) (0.5 FTE)

£34,466 - £65,493 pa (pro rata)

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic dentist with an interest in education to be part of the teaching team at the University of Liverpool School of Dentistry, based at Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

Principle duties will be the supervision and clinical teaching of undergraduate students in the clinical department of Oral Diagnosis. You will facilitate student learning derived from clinical experience of the investigation, diagnosis and management of acute dental problems. You must be able to teach the relevant aspects of Clinical Dentistry to the standard required by the General Dental Council for graduation. You may be called upon to deliver lectures and tutorials as well as contribute to the development of learning materials and the organisation of courses. You must be prepared to be involved in the assessment and academic advising of students, and to take part in the day to day running of the Dental School. Full registration with the GDC is required
