We’re looking for a Locum Specialist Orthodontist to work with us at our well-established Total Orthodontics (part of Bupa) practice in Blackburn, Lancashire

Overview of Total Orthodontics Blackburn

The practice is situated close to the busy town centre of Blackburn. J6 of the M65 motorway is approximately 2.5 miles to the east of the property and connects Blackburn with the M6 motorway and wider north west region. Blackburn train station is located approximately half a mile to the south of the property, providing regular services to Leeds, Manchester and Preston.
The practice can provide a private parking space for the Specialist Orthodontist a short distance from the practice in a secure car park.
We are a five-surgery specialist orthodontic practice working with the therapy model. The practice spans over three floors. There are four chairs located over two surgeries make it accessible for over-seeing the therapists. A fifth chair on the top floor which is perfectly located for the private paying patients.
The practice team consists of an experienced practice manager, full time treatment coordinator, three orthodontic therapists and a team of qualified nurses and receptionists.
We have a healthy list of potential private patients that have made enquiries over recent months. Our experienced full-time treatment coordinator with her clinical knowledge is on hand to support patients with decisions about treatment and finance options.
We have an Itero scanner and Carestream intra-oral scanner in the surgeries. OPG machine and Carestream imaging scanner in our x-ray suite. A Zoom lamp is also available for use to give the perfect result after teeth straightening.
