Established since 1960, Budleigh Salterton Dental is a small and friendly private practice situated just a five-minute walk from the beautiful pebble bay! We look forward to welcoming a pro-active and diligent Qualified Dental Nurse to the team in what will be a varied role with scope for development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and specialists
- Experience in general dental and specialist procedures is desirable, we offer, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, facial aesthetics, general dentistry and periodontics
- Perform top quality dental nursing in all procedures in a safe and effective manner
- Maintain the clinical environment and equipment
- Prepare equipment, materials and patients with efficiency and empathy
- Excellent understanding of infection control prevention and procedures
- Assist with maintenance of the surgery
- Ad hoc receptionist and clerical duties, and other tasks reasonably requested
WORK HOURS & BENEFITS
- This is a full-time opportunity (39 hours per week) between Monday – Friday
- Surgery opening hours are 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4.30pm on a Friday
- Modern, private dental practice with three surgeries

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EDUCATION
- Patient orientated with excellent communication skills
- Implant and sedation experience desirable but not essential
- Enthusiasm to learn new skills
- Reliable, well organised team member with a flexible manner and drive to exceed expectations
- Knowledge of and proficient user of ‘Software of Excellence’
- Comply with the ‘Code of Ethics’ of the British Association of Dental Nurses
- Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC
- Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines
- Knowledge of CQC and compliance
