Why we're different
As the only corporate dental provider in the UK not backed by private equity, we’re in a unique position. We’re committed to the UK dental industry for the long-term – both private and NHS – and are ready to treat not just today’s patients, but generations to come.
Furthermore, as a limited liability company Bupa has no shareholders, so we’re able to focus 100% on delivering a great service for our customers. We are run commercially to ensure we remain competitive, but Bupa reinvests 100% of its profits to help provide better care for patients across the world.
And we're proud to have been named in the LinkedIn Top Companies Where the UK Wants to Work 2019 and in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list.

Why join Bupa Dental Care?
Join a growing business that puts patients first
We were formed when Bupa acquired the well-established Oasis Dental Care business. Our aim is simple: to deliver world-class patient care in the world of dentistry. We want Bupa Dental Care to be the brand of choice for patients, clinicians and all the people who want to build a career in this field.
We’ve chosen to provide services via the NHS and privately, giving patients real flexibility and freedom of choice. It’s also good for our business, giving us a mix of stability via the NHS and the scope to grow our business across the private side of things.
Our focus on the future means we look to invest in our growth through mergers and acquisitions. We’re just as committed to investing in the development of our teams, giving our people access to the latest digital technologies and helping them to maintain their edge.
The Bupa Group purpose
At Bupa, our purpose is to help people to live longer, healthier, happier lives. We do this by putting our patients at the heart of everything, by empowering our people to provide the highest standards of care and by constantly looking to improve upon everything we do. In Bupa Dental Care, we want to become the industry’s go-to brand – a thought leader redefining what exceptional dental care looks like.
Working with Bupa Dental Care
Love to push yourself? Love to know you've got everything you need? Love to keep on growing?
We'll make sure you have the perfect balance of freedom and support
We’ll give you the autonomy you need to decide what’s best for your patients, whether they’re NHS or private. We’ll also be open to your ideas about how we could do things even better, and if you need any expert guidance, we can offer that too. You’ll have skilled colleagues alongside you in your practice, a team of clinical experts on-hand in the field and access to a breadth of non-clinical experts in our Support Centre.
Expect the right tools and great colleagues in a fulfilling environment
It’s imperative that you have the tools you need to be at your best, so we’ll provide a vast choice of consumables. We have around 4,000 products available and these are continually reviewed with the major dental companies. You’ll be working with some hugely talented people, in an environment that’s been designed to put patients front and centre.
You’ll have access to the training you need to achieve everything you want.
We offer a wide variety of training programmes. Some have been designed to hone your skills; others will allow you to specialise in a particular area. You’ll also have access to Bupa Continuous Professional Development (CPD) learning at a significantly reduced rate. This contains the full range of core subjects as well as 400 additional hours of learning, providing all the elements required for enhanced CPD.
If you or someone you know would be interested in working with a dynamic and expanding healthcare business we would love to hear from you!
