Clinical Lecturer in Endodontology
Full Time :
The appointment will be on UCL Grade CL8. The salary range will be £45,274 - £51,230 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The remit of the appointee is to deliver educational programmes, securing research income and achieving outputs relevant to the Institute’s research strategy. The appointee will play a key role in delivering postgraduate Masters, Specialist training and PhD programmes within the unit of Endodontology. This will incorporate small group teaching in the form of tutorials, seminars and case conferences; with a focus on developing and implementing new and relevant educational techniques. Teaching will encompass the supervision of clinical work of postgraduate students and trainees and involve instruction on all aspects of technical endodontic skills development in the laboratory. The work will include academic and administrative duties to support the smooth running of the unit.
The postholder will need to have experience of delivering postgraduate teaching and clinical teaching. The successful candidate have completed a relevant specialist training programme in Endodontology or within 3 months of completing. They must also be eligibile for full registration on the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC) Register and on the relevant specialist list.
