The University of Plymouth Peninsula Dental School is looking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic academic to contribute to the development, evaluation and teaching across all years of its highly successful BDS and BSc Dental Therapy and Hygiene programmes.

We particularly welcome applications from clinically qualified candidates with an interest for enhancing clinical and professional teaching. You will be an excellent communicator and an enthusiastic educator with a commitment to developing our undergraduate professional programmes. You will be expected to facilitate learning across a range of activities including small group and EBL sessions, in the simulated dental learning environment (SDLE), chairside on clinic, through lectures and interactive workshops.

You will have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree, full registration with the UK General Dental Council (GDC) be an active clinician and have or be willing to gain a qualification or recognition of teaching in HE.
