We are hiring a Management Accountant to join our Damira Family in our Pinner Office
Damira Dental Studios Limited was Established in 2003 and has grown to become a leading provider of high-quality dental care across the 23 practices it currently owns in the UK.

Damira plans to continue to grow considerably over the next five years, and because of these ambitious growth plans, we now need a Management Accountant reporting into and assisting the Head of Finance based in our Support Office in Pinner.

This role would suit a proactive, ambitious, Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE (Qualified by experience) Accountant, who is comfortable in an SME environment, happy to roll up sleeves and get involved in the day to day operations but equally is able to take a step back and identify where the department needs to make change and implementing the required changes.
We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator, a self-starter, has great social skills, a great personality, excellent interpersonal and cross functional skills.
The incumbent would assist the Head of Finance in leading the Finance team (currently 3 staff).
This would include but not be limited to delegation of tasks, review of work, identification of training and development needs and coaching or mentoring.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to
• Ensuring the production of the monthly P&L’s for the practices and Support Office on a timely basis
o reviewing and ensuring that all items have been accounted for correctly;
o and that the management accounts are a fair reflection of the performance of the business. • Being responsible for the producing the monthly P&L’s for some practices; • Assisting the other team members with the production of their monthly P&L’s including reviewing the draft results for required adjustments; • Carrying out variance analysis to explain variances to Budget/ Forecast; • Performance of monthly balance sheet recs for relevant practices and assisting the team with their recs; • Preparing the monthly payroll for the relevant practices and being responsible for all relevant payroll reporting for those practices; • Assisting with the year end audit process, ensuring that all relevant working papers are prepared for the auditors; • Looking at practice financial controls and processes and implementing relevant changes; • Authorisation of all relevant payments from our online banking system; • Delivering projects related to finance, this includes, but is not limited to, reviewing how we currently use Sage Key Skills
