Duties and Responsibilities

The principal purpose of this job will be to assist in the design and delivery of the Certifcate in Oral Surgery as well as assist the present staff of Oral Surgery in the present teaching of Oral Surgery to postgraduates undertaking the MSC or M Clin Dent in Oral Surgery.

The postholder will assist the Programme Director in the design of the Certificate in Oral Surgery, creation of teaching material and the delivery of the teaching (on-line or face-to-face). They will also assist and coordinate examination preparation, including written examinations, practical exercises, personal development portfolios, case scenarios and other relevant exercises.

Key Requirements

The postholder will need to have experience of delivering postgraduate teaching in Oral Surgery, as well as experience of delivering continuing professional development courses or programmes. The successful candidate must be registered as a dentist with the General Dental Council or be eligible for registering.
