We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Clinical Senior Teacher/Lecturer within our Restorative Team.

The successful candidate will join a committed team of clinical academic staff and will be expected to engage with teaching, scholarship/research and clinical responsibilities as appropriate within Restorative Dentistry.  These include teaching/support duties in relation to the MDSc in Endodontology and the undergraduate BDS programmes in Restorative dentistry (including Endodontology).  

Your priorities will include:

  • Work closely with MDSc Programme Leads in Prosthodontics and Endodontics
  • Teaching and clinical supervision of endodontics for the MDSc programme
  • Assist and be prepared to lead in the organisation and coordination of the various components of the taught MDSc programmes
  • Clinical teaching of undergraduate students in Restorative Dentistry
  • Deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials for undergraduate and postgraduate students

Who we’re looking for:

  • BDS or equivalent
  • Full registration with the GDC
  • Completion of Restorative or Endodontic specialist training and be admitted to the specialist list of the GDC in Restorative Dentistry or Endodontic monospeciality lists
  • Postgraduate degree at MSc level or higher or equivalent
