UCL Eastman Dental Institute (EDI) is a world-leading, academic centre for dentistry and translational research based in London, UK. We are currently recruiting a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Prosthodontics.
The main remit of this post is to ensure the delivery of postgraduate courses and programmes in the field of Prosthodontics including related training and mentoring within the Department of CPD. The post holder’s main tasks will be to deliver teaching, assessment, feedback and research in relation to the popular MSc in Restorative Dental Practice programme, with particular emphasis on the PG Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice and the PG Diploma stage of the programme. Furthermore, there is a huge demand for episodic Prosthodontic Courses for GDPs, for which the post-holder will help create a portfolio of short courses.
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified dental practitioner holding a Masters qualification in the relevant discipline. Eligibility for full registration on the United Kingdom General Dental Council (GDC) is essential and where appropriate the relevant specialist list. The post-holder will have experience of delivering postgraduate teaching in Prosthodontics and continuing professional development courses.
This post is 0.6 FTE (3 days a week), and the successful candidate must be available to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
