Associate Dentist

ASSOCIATE DENTIST, IDEALLY WITH SPECIAL INTEREST

We are looking for a dentist with a special interest to take over a well-maintained list of patients from a retiring principle of 35 years. The position is available at Triangle Dental - a well established practice of 71 years with a 5 star Google reputation situated in Tilehurst, to the West of Reading, with good access to the M4 motorway.

Triangle Dental is a primarily a private practice treating adults on a private basis with access to modern equipment, a wonderful and committed team and with a strong ethos for patient care. The private patient list comprises of half Denplan and half fee-per-item. We also have a small NHS contract which we use to treat children and you will have a list of children to see on this basis.

The advertised position is for 4 days of work though for the ideal candidate we can offer a little more or a little less. It will be to start in April 2020. We will offer the associate 45% of private fees, payment for your patients seeing our hygienists, and £13 per UDA.

The ideal candidate will have:

•    A special skill that they are competent in and have a track-record of providing, such as placement of Implants or Endodontics

•    An experienced track-record of providing private dentistry

•    Be a caring and friendly person

•    Show motivation for self-development through courses they have attended in recent years

•    A willingness to help in adding value to the practice

We are also willing to consider an associate without a special skill, and also to have a separate specialist visit on a less frequent basis to do Endo/Implants - if either of these scenarios suits you - go ahead and apply, clearly stating what you are able to offer.
