Dental Nurse/Receptionist

We are looking for a Part Time Receptionist/Dental Nurse to join our friendly NHS/Private Dental and Aesthetic Practice in Willingdon. The role will be 2 days a week 8.30am to 5.30pm. Flexibility on days will be required.  The role is maternity cover.

You must be a qualified Dental Nurse or currently enrolled on a Dental Nurse course, which will be self funded, and working towards full qualification. Please note some previous practical Dental Nurse experience is essential and applicants without this will not be considered.

As a Receptionist at our practice you’ll put our patients at the heart of everything you do. From arranging their appointments, greeting them when they arrive in practice and making them feel welcome, to ensuring they leave knowing what to expect on their next visit, our receptionists provide excellent customer service and consistently improve customer satisfaction.

As a key member of the practice team, you will make best use of surgery time through efficient diary management and support the team to deliver the best possible care.

You will also carry out adhoc administration duties. Therefore the ability to use Word and Excel is required. This is an extremely busy reception and fast paced role. You must be able to prioritise your workload, multitask and think proactively.

As a Dental Nurse at our Practice you will work closely with a qualified dentist, ensuring dental sessions run as smoothly as possible. Duties undertaken include preparing and maintaining the clinical environment, charting during examinations, preparing and mixing materials, and providing support to patients during treatment.
