An exciting opportunity now exists to work in the dynamic environment of the Dental Academy based at the University of Portsmouth, providing outreach training for King’s College London, Faculty of Dentistry, Oral and Craniofacial Sciences final year students in a primary care setting.

The Faculty seeks to appoint a forward-looking tutor for up to four days a week to educate dental students at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy from September 2019. The postholder will work with a team of tutors to undertake clinical teaching and participate in clinical, other service and research activities. The Dental Academy promotes a team based holistic care approach.

Applicants should be fully GDC Registered Dentists with a good level of experience and hold an NHS performer number. Applicants from a general practice are encouraged and the Institute also values postgraduate qualifications.

The selection process will include competency scenario based questions and a panel interview.
