Dental Clinic in Hove is looking for a capable and confident Practice Manager/Receptionist.
The perfect candidate would be organised, reliable and motivated to take on this role to push the clinic to its full potential.
Previous experience as a practice manager/receptionist or a managerial role within a dental practice is a bonus as well as clinical dental knowledge.
Hours: Full Time or Part Time
Salary: Competitive/dependent on experience
Job responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Responsibility for the day to day running of the practice
- Reception duties including answering phone calls, booking patients etc
- Managing and motivating all staff
- GDC Qualified
- Strong knowledge of CQC and Compliant with CQC
- Management of the clinical governance system and maintaining practice policies
- Experience in Private Practice
- Stock and inventory control for all surgeries and office stock
- Management of all clinical staff diaries
- Handling patient complaints
- Supporting all staff and induction of new staff members
- Planning weekly rotas
- Assist with carrying out staff appraisals
Job Type: Full-time or Part Time
Experience:
- Medical/Dental Practice Management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 3 years (Preferred)
Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
What to expect:
You will be expected to manage all aspects of the day to day running of the practice to ensure we deliver a safe, efficient and adequate service in a timely manner. Handling calls, booking appointments etc
Responsibilities as well as the above include ensuring maximum diary utilisation. Ensuring the Practiceremains within its budget and hits daily, weekly and monthly targets, planning rotas, updating time sheets, planning ahead to maintain staffing levels, managing holidays, PDP's, encouraging growth and stability within the practice, complaints, practicemeetings, and some aspects of HR including payroll and recruitment. Delegating work appropriately and efficiently.
You will be responsible for CQC management and working to keep all related files and policies up to date.
