The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of academic (University of Edinburgh) and clinical (NHS Lothian) services. The DClinDent programmes in Endodontology and Prosthodontics attract applications from throughout the world and are both full-time courses with 2 students per year. The programmes follow the GDC curriculum for specialist training and are designed to make students eligible to sit the Royal College exit examinations upon completion.

The postholder will support the running of these programmes, along with having an NHS clinical commitment.

This is a fixed term five-year appointment. The post is graded ACT3/ACN3 (clinical) for a 10 PA contract. The successful applicant will be also be offered an additional Academic EPA. You must be eligible to hold an honorary consultant contract with NHS Lothian.
