Practice Manager

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a practice manager to start with a brand new, independent dental practice in Billingham, Teesside.

We would like to welcome applications for a part time role (3 days) in managing a new 4 surgery dental practice that offers NHS and private dentistry.

The job will consist of managing the day-to-day running of this exciting new practice and its enthusiastic team. The practice owners will work in the practice full time and will give their full support to the practice manager.

The practice managers role will include:

• Support and manage staff to nurture an open and friendly working environment
• Maintain practice policies and procedures
• Compliance with the CQC and GDC, supported by the popular CODE iComply system
• Working with the NHS Compass system
• Working with EXACT Software of Excellence practice management software
• Control stock inventory and ordering
• Leading team meetings
• Providing support and leadership to employed staff
• Managing salaries and payments, supported by our accountancy team
• Managing patient queries and complaints

We welcome all applications with a preference to those with experience in the dental practice setting. Previous experience of dental practice management is not necessary but is desirable. A GDC registered candidate would also be preferred.
