Dental Nurse

This Independent, Family run practice is looking to recruit for a permanent Dental Nurse to join their friendly team, located in Brighton

Start Date: ASAP, Working on a permanent basis. Will consider all notice periods.

This is a Part time role. Working From Monday to Thursdays

Working hours are:
3 days will be 9-6
The 4th day (Either a Mon,Tues or Weds) will be either a late start with late finish or early start with early finish-TBC

This is a floater role, Therefore nurse will be with different dentists in the week but the rota will be more or less the same week to week.

Established at its current site for over 14 years.

All candidates MUST :
Be qualified and GDC registered.
Candidates must have Dental experience and must have Dental background.

Required Skills and experience:
Previous experience working as a dental nurse
Good communicator (verbal and written)

Primary duties
Managing office and surgery supplies/stock and ordering
Acting as surgery assistant during all dental procedures
Performing all clinical procedures within legal limitations
Assist in obtaining diagnostic records
Managing and co-ordinating laboratory work
Assisting in the provision of a safe and clean work environment for our patients and staff
Maintaining logs of sterilisation & decontamination as per CQC requirements
Covering reception

Salary depends on experience and will be discussed at interview.

Practice also hold digital X-ray machines and provide excellent experienced clinical and administrative support in a fully computerised practice, using SOE computer systems.
